This is a rubber Halloween pirate mask from the 1930s by some authorities or possibly later, as the price stamped on the back is 29 cents. Probably made in Japan. The mask is in remarkable condition consistent with its age (not easy to photograph because it is pliable). The color is good; the mask is pliable and clean. It is not torn. It still has the rubber band that holds it in place.  The is a horizontal slit along the mouth below the teeth may be deliberate? It measures approximately 7 inches long x 6-5/8 inches wide.

Paper mache jack-o-lantern (JOL) candy container 1940s-1950s. This is a large JOL measuring 7 inches high. It is in good condition consistent with its age. On Side 1, there is a wart-like bump above its nose near the eye hole no doubt from the manufacturing process. On the same side, the right cheek has a rough spot about ½ inch long where it appears to have been damaged but some paint remains. On Side 2 at the bottom near its "chin," there is a crimp in the edge that definitely looks like a manufacturing issue. There are the typical random small dings and some wear on the top rim, none of which is material or glaring. The inside is very clean and the bottom is intact. The inserts are reproductions made on 60-year-old paper. This IS NOT a reproduction.
