This is an awesome winged scarab Egyptian Revival hammered brass brooch or sash pin from the 1920s with a definite Deco element. It has amazing foiled orb stones which resemble a globe of the world. The closure is a “Cin. clasp, and the piece measures a generous 3-1/2 inches long by 2-1/4 inches wide.It has a beautiful warm patina with some noticeable oxidation on the back and front which is characteristic of its age.Rather than a detraction, we believe this adds to the vintage sensibility of the piece.
