Luminescent large opal chalcedony drop highlights this stunning Art Nouveau era watch brooch. The faceted opal glass stone is filigree capped and suspended from a gold gilt bead and a ribbed element. The opal colored chalcedony dangles from a watch pin with a center gold filled cartouche having a ribbed border and an ornate sensual flowing design shape. The cartouche is engraved with the initials HA. A most exquisite versatile piece...can be worn as a brooch or suspended from a chain as a pendant. Watch pins such as these are not produced in todays time..unique! The brooch measures 2 inches with a secure c-clasp closure. Very good condition with very minimal wear to the gold fill.
