Vintage Halloween Cat on Fence Paper Mache Lantern JOL

From the 1940s, this is a paper mache black cat candy container or lantern if you prefer. It measures a little over 7 inches high.  It is in very good vintage condition with minimum wear showing on the ears and on the rim around the opening in the back.   The inside is clean and free of wax and other debris. It has its original insert which is hard to find. This is a beauty!
